Conceptual branding for a streaming service/app called Verse.
For this project, my hypothetical client was a streaming service/app called Verse that streams movies, television, and music, all in one place. The app is called Verse. My goal for this project was to make Verse stand out from the competition of streaming services and to create memorable design elements that would easily attract viewers. Although Verse provides excellent streaming services, I wanted to make the brand feel personable and fun as well for all to see and explore.
The theme of adventure, exploring the unknown, and having a sense of wonder was prevalent and remained strong throughout the branding of Verse. The Verse logo also reflects this same curiosity and is why the character is present throughout these design elements. While originally coming up with and designing the logo, I thought of ways to relate it back to television and music while also personifying it, hence the TV antennas, headphones, and slightly angled pause button representing eyes. Presenting the Verse app as an exciting and brand new journey brings freshness and personability to the brand, and users are inclined to explore Verse’s services with Verse acting as their partner in crime.

As part of the project, I was tasked with creating an Instagram Story for Verse. In this Instagram Story, in order to demonstrate the sense of wonder and immersion, I placed Verse in the middle surrounded by various moving TV screen panels.
