Creating a low budget campaign for a non-profit organization.
My goal for this project was to try to raise funds for my chosen non-profit, Northeast Animal Rescue: an organization dedicated to saving homeless, unwanted and abandoned cats.
To evoke feelings of love and affection and to humanize these cats, my designs utilized a more minimalist art style. Rather than going with a vectorized or photorealistic approach which may feel lifeless or not stand out from other similar organizations’ advertising, scribbled red hearts and silhouettes of both cats and humans are consistent throughout the pieces to place emphasis on the hearts and lives of both humans and cats. Red-colored text is used to stand out and place emphasis on call-to-actions as well as important pieces of information for viewers to see.
